Transfers Breaking: 12 IAS officers transferred

Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), September 14, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 12 IAS officers across key districts to strengthen governance and service delivery. The orders were issued through GO Rt No. 1676 by Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand on Thursday.
Key Collector Appointments:
- Kritika Shukla, formerly Director of Intermediate Education, appointed as Collector of Palnadu, replacing P Arun Babu.
- P Raja Babu, Secretary of APPSC, takes charge as Collector of Prakasam.
- Himanshu Shukla, Director of Information & Public Relations, appointed Collector of Nellore.
- N Prabhakar Reddy, Joint Secretary in CCLA, becomes Collector of Parvathipuram Manyam.
- Nishanth Kumar, Director of Excise & Prohibition, posted as Collector of Annamayya.
- Dr A Siri, Director of Secondary Health, appointed Collector of Kurnool.
Transfers and Reassignments:
- Dr V Vinod Kumar moves from Anantapur to Bapatla.
- Thameem Ansaria A, Collector of Prakasam, reassigned to Guntur, replacing S Nagalakshmi.
- S Rama Sunder Reddy, Commissioner of Rehabilitation & Resettlement, becomes Collector of Vizianagaram.
- Kirti Chekuri, JMD of AP TRANSCO, appointed Collector of East Godavari.
- O Anand posted as Collector of Anantapur, while A Shyam Prasad takes charge of Satya Sai district.
The reshuffle reflects the state government’s ongoing efforts to improve administrative efficiency and strengthen district-level governance.
