Breaking: PSPCL gets new Director/Generation

Chandigarh, June 4, 2026: In a key administrative development, the Government of Punjab’s Department of Power has appointed Er. Punnerdeep Singh Brar as the new Director/Generation of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) with immediate effect.
The official order was issued by Dr. Basant Garg, IAS, Secretary to the Government of Punjab (Department of Power), stating that the appointment has been approved by the Governor of Punjab under the relevant provisions of the Articles of Association of PSPCL.
According to the notification, Er. Brar will serve a tenure of two years from the date of joining or until attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. The appointment will be governed by existing service rules and relevant government memos, including amendments issued from time to time.
Er. Punnerdeep Singh Brar, son of Sh. Balkarn Singh Brar, hails from Harindera Nagar in Faridkot.
