Aichi-Nagoya [Japan], September 29, 2026: India's medal campaign is steadily gaining momentum at the ongoing Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. After the competitions on September 28, India has won a total of 45 medals, including 4 gold, 20 silver and 21 bronze, and remains at 12th place in the medal table. The Indian Olympic Association has also recorded the same figures.
September 28 was a particularly medal-filled day for India. Indian athletes won 8 medals—4 silver and 4 bronze—on a single day.
