MLA Bhullar reviews treatment under CM’s Health Insurance Scheme
Ferozepur, February 2, 2026: Punjab MLA from Ferozepur Urban, Ranbir Singh Bhullar, visited the local Sandhu Children’s Hospital to review the treatment being provided under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme, which offers free medical care up to ₹10 lakh.
The scheme, launched by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to ensure better healthcare facilities for the people of the state, is now actively benefiting patients across the district. During his visit, the MLA interacted with patients and their attendants to assess the facilities being provided under the scheme.
Bhullar said that treatment under the scheme has already commenced in the Ferozepur constituency. He shared that during his visit to the children’s hospital, a child was undergoing treatment under the scheme. MLA spoke to the child’s parents, who expressed their gratitude to the Punjab Government, stating that their child received complete treatment without incurring any hospital expenses.
Highlighting the impact of the initiative, Bhullar said that the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme is proving highly beneficial for people from all sections of society. He urged residents of the district to ensure their registration under the scheme to avail themselves of its benefits.
MLA also thanked the Punjab Government and said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, historic steps are being taken in the health sector, which will ensure healthcare security for the people of the state.
