New Delhi, August 20, 2025: Have you received an SMS claiming that your package has arrived at a warehouse and asking you to update your address details within 24 hours to avoid return?
#PIBFactCheck has confirmed that such messages are fake. India Post has clarified that it never sends messages asking recipients to update their address through links for delivery of articles.
Authorities have advised citizens to be cautious and to avoid clicking on fraudulent links, as they may lead to scams or data theft.
