In a noteworthy move to strengthen emergency response capabilities, the Bathinda Police has been equipped with new, modern emergency response vehicles. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bathinda, Jyoti Yadav, accompanied by SP (HQ) Bathinda Jagdish Kumar and DSP (Special Crime) Bathinda, inaugurated these vehicles and outlined necessary measures to ensure the district's emergency services are more efficient and effective.
SSP Jyoti Yadav emphasized that these state-of-the-art vehicles are designed to enable field units to respond swiftly and decisively in critical situations. The initiative aims to streamline operations and enhance the overall robustness of emergency services in the region.
Equipping law enforcement agencies with well-maintained vehicles stationed at high-risk areas can significantly enhance their ability to respond swiftly to incidents. These vehicles, when strategically placed, act as both a deterrent to potential offenders and a reassurance to the public. Their visibility alone sends a strong message that law enforcement is active and vigilant in the area.

Proper staffing is a crucial component to serve in better way: MLA Jagroop Singh Gill
Welcoming this development, Bathinda MLA Jagroop Singh Gill said “while vehicles are essential, the impact of this initiative depends heavily on the personnel deployed to operate them. Trained and dedicated staff should be assigned to these mobile units to ensure their effectiveness”.
Jagroop Singh Gill further added “Officers stationed at vulnerable locations must possess strong communication skills, situational awareness, and conflict resolution abilities. Their presence should not only deter crime but also promote trust and cooperation between law enforcement and the people”.
This is a commendable step by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said MLA Jagroop Singh Gill. He said “Prioritizing urban safety through strategic deployment of vehicles and trained personnel is indeed a forward-thinking initiative. Such measures not only deter criminal activities but also build trust between law enforcement and the people and promote a sense of security. Efforts like these pave the way for safer cities where individuals can thrive without fear. A great example of proactive governance, added Jagroop Singh Gill.
