SDM, 6 year old son die in massive landslide

Jammu, August 2, 2025: An SDM and his 6 year old son died and his wife and two others were injured after a heavy bolder hit their vehicle in landslide in Reasi area of the state. SDM Rajinder Singh Rana was on his way to his native village Pattian when the incident occurred. Rana was a Jammu and Kashmir cadre civil servant. He and his son died on the spot whereas his wife and two others were injured in the incident.
