Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal condoles demise of Gur Sidhu’s father’s demise

Ludhiana (Punjab), August 15, 2025- The Punjabi music world has been left in a state of shock, grief, and disbelief over the heartbreaking news of the sudden demise of popular Punjabi singer Gur Sidhu’s beloved father, Sardar Sukhbir Singh Sidhu.
National BJP leader and Patron, Punjab Kalakar Manch Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said, This is not just sad news , it is an emotional earthquake for Gur Sidhu, his family, and every person who knows them.
Gur Sidhu, in a very short span of time, has earned immense respect and love from millions through his unique voice, heartfelt lyrics, and powerful music. Today, he stands in a moment of deep personal pain that no son should ever have to bear.
He said, Sardar Sukhbir Singh Sidhu was more than just the father of a gifted artist, he was a pillar of his family and a man of high standing in society, serving as the respected Sarpanch of his native village, Chak Fateh Singh Wala.His sudden passing due to a heart attack has not only shattered his family but also cast a deep shadow of grief over the entire village and beyond.
Grewal said, I have personally seen how much love and support a father gives to his son in the challenging world of art and music. Behind every successful artist is a family that sacrifices, motivates, and stands by them through all storms. The loss of such a guiding figure is immeasurable.
He further said, In this moment of unbearable sorrow, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Gur Sidhu and his entire family. I also appeal to the Punjabi music fraternity, fans, and society at large to stand united with him in this testing time, just as his music has stood with us in our moments of joy and sadness.
Grewal said that, May Waheguru Ji grant eternal peace to the soul of Sardar Sukhbir Singh Sidhu Ji and give Gur Sidhu and his family the inner strength to endure this irreparable loss.
