Minister Rao Narbir Singh hears public grievances near village Dhankot, directs officers to resolve the grievances promptly

Chandigarh, November 11, 2024- Haryana Industry and Commerce, Environment, Forest and Wildlife Minister, Rao Narbir Singh said that for the infrastructure development of the Gurugram work needs to be done at ground level to provide quick benefits to the public.
He directed the officers to prioritise the rapid completion of road, sewage, and drainage works. Rao Narbir Singh said this while inspecting the arrangements of road, traffic management and drainage near village Dhankot on Gurugram-Jhajjar road today.
Rao Narbir Singh said that Jhajjar road is a major link connecting Gurugram with other districts of the state, leading to heavy traffic pressure on this road. To avoid traffic jams in Dhankot village he directed officers to make a special action plan.
He further directed PWD, GMDA, and Municipal Corporation officers to hold a joint meeting and resolve the issue within a stipulated time frame.
He also said that cleaning of the drainage system in Dhankot should be done to prevent waterlogging on the roads and that both the internal road passing through Dhankot and the bypass road should be repaired without delay. Besides this, he also directed officers to resolve the water logging issue near Dhanwapur, with PWD officers assuring a solution within a month.
During his visit, he not only heard public grievances but also directed the officers to resolve them promptly.
