Ludhiana, June 20, 2025 –
Following an intense three-and-a-half-month election campaign, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP and Ludhiana Lok Sabha candidate Sanjeev Arora took a well-deserved pause on Thursday, spending the day with family and initiating a post-election cleanup drive.
Reflecting on the day after voting, Arora shared that he allowed himself a rare moment of rest. “I took the morning slow and finally caught up on some much-needed sleep. One of the first things I did upon waking was to request my team and the Municipal Corporation to start removing all campaign-related material—posters, wall wraps, and stickers—across the constituency,” he said.
Arora highlighted the emotional significance of reuniting with his family after months on the campaign trail. “After a light breakfast, I spent quality time with my family, especially my grandchildren—Aria, Anhad, and Ivaan. Hearing them say, ‘Dadu, it’s so nice to finally see you. We were only seeing you on posters and hoardings,’ truly touched my heart.”
He added that the day was spent enjoying family meals and moments of togetherness. “We had lunch as a family, and I’m planning to take them out for dinner to their favourite restaurant. Over the next two days, I intend to remain with my loved ones, making up for the time we lost during the campaign.”
Arora emphasized the importance of such pauses in public life. “It’s not just about rest—it’s a time to reflect, recharge, and reconnect before resuming responsibilities with renewed focus and energy,” he said.
