NDA Vice-Presidential candidate CP Radhakrishnan Hails Punjabi Community as true Nation Builders

New Delhi, August 22, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu paid a courtesy visit to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Vice-Presidential candidate CP Radhakrishnan on Friday. MP Sandhu while endorsing CP Radhakrishan’s candidacy as vice-president, described him as a “seasoned statesman whose vast public life experience will greatly benefit the nation”.
The Vice-President nominee CP Radhakrishnan while interacting with MP Satnam Singh Sandhu conveyed his thoughts and feelings about Punjab and Punjabi community.
He said that he is proud of contributions made by Punjabi community in India’s freedom struggle and nation building.
He further added that whether it is the contribution made by Punjabi community towards safeguarding the borders of our nation or the contribution made by Punjab farmers in make India a self-reliant nation in foodgrains or the entrepreneurship spirit of the Punjabi community that has helped in shaping the Indian economy, CP Radhakrishnan termed the Punjabi Community as true Nation Builders.
While endorsing CP Radhakrishnan candidacy as Vice-President nominee, MP Sandhu said, “CP Radhakrishnan has vast public life experience spanning over 4 decades and the nation would benefit immensely from his election as next vice president of India. Radhakrishnan has dedicated his life to public service and nation-building.
The NDA has made an excellent choice, and the entire nation stands to gain from his service in this high constitutional office.” CP Radhakrishnan has served as BJP’s Tamil Nadu President and was twice elected to the Lok Sabha from Coimbatore, served as LG Puducherry, Governor of Jharkhand and is currently serving as Governor of Maharashtra.
