95 Trains hit by disruptions in Kathua-Madhopur, Ferozepur Rail Division
Ferozepur, September 1, 2025: Train services were severely hit today after traffic was suspended on the Kathua–Madhopur Punjab down line due to track misalignment on bridge BR-17. As a result, 69 trains have been cancelled, while 17 each were short-terminated and short-originated.
In the Ferozepur rail division, operations were also disrupted due to waterlogging on the Jalandhar City–Nakodar Junction, Hoshiarpur–Jalandhar, and Beas–Tarn Taran routes, leading to the cancellation of nine trains.
Railways has advised passengers to check real-time updates on NTES or dial 139 before planning any journey.
