CGC Landran recognized in NIRF 2025 Rankings for excellence across disciplines
Chandigarh, 5 September 2025-Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, has been recognized in the 10th edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025, released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. While CGC Landran’s Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC) has distinguished itself by appearing in the Engineering Rank Band of 101–150 and the Overall Rank Band of 151–200, standing as the only self-financed college in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh to achieve this milestone ranking; Chandigarh College of Pharmacy (CCP) earned 69th place nationally in the Pharmacy category, confirming its strength in research-led and industry-aligned learning. CGC Landran’s Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA) secured a place in the Management Rank Band of 101–125; and CGC Landran’s College of Engineering (CoE) appears in the Engineering Rank Band of 151–200, underlining the consistency of quality across multiple disciplines.
NIRF 2025 provides a nationwide assessment of colleges and universities across 17 academic and professional categories. It is India’s trusted benchmark for the quality of higher education and evaluates higher education institutions across categories such as engineering, management, medical, law, universities and overall performance. The framework assesses institutions on parameters including, Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research & Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach & Inclusivity and Perception.
