Chandigarh’s Dr. Monica B Sood felicitated by Sapt Sindhu Foundation for contributions to Ayurveda and Society

Chandigarh, October 12, 2025: Renowned Ayurveda expert and social contributor Dr. Monica B Sood, hailing from Chandigarh, was honoured by the Sapt Sindhu Foundation, a prominent Delhi-based NGO, at a ceremony held in the city. The event recognised distinguished personalities from the region for their outstanding contributions to society, culture, and heritage.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by veteran actor and Member of Parliament Raj Babbar and Padma Shri awardee Dr. Jaspinder Narula, who served as Chief Guests. Dr. Sood received a commemorative plaque from Raj Babbar and Dr. Narula in recognition of her dedication to community welfare, cultural awareness, and educational outreach.
Speaking after the felicitation, Dr. Sood said, “It is a true honour to be recognised by the Sapt Sindhu Foundation. I believe Ayurveda and our rich cultural heritage offer timeless wisdom for holistic wellbeing—not just physically, but socially and spiritually. This recognition inspires me to continue serving the community with dedication and humility.”
The event was further attended by Shri Pradeep Ji Joshi, senior RSS leader, and Justice Sabina, former Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, adding to its prominence.
A special screening of the acclaimed film ‘Marhi Da Deeva’, starring Raj Babbar, was also organised under the aegis of Nivedita Trust, receiving warm appreciation from the audience.
