Canada: 24-yr-old girl student from Ludhiana found dead in Ontario

Ontario (Canada), April 24, 2026: A 24-year-old Indian student from Ludhiana has died under unclear circumstances in Canada’s Ontario, prompting concern among family and the local community.
The deceased has been identified as Anmoldeep Kaur, who had moved to Canada in 2021 to pursue higher education. She was residing in Barrie and was reportedly working in the childcare sector while on a valid work permit.
According to initial information, Anmoldeep had stepped out for her routine walk at a park situated between her residence and Georgian College. During the walk, she is believed to have sat on a bench, where she was later discovered unresponsive by people present in the park.
Bystanders attempted to check on her, but she had already passed away. Local authorities were immediately alerted, and police reached the scene to begin an investigation into the incident.
