IAS officer Brajendra Navnit appointed as Additional Secretary in 8th Central Pay Commission

New Delhi, May 2, 2026: Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Brajendra Navnit has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the 8th Central Pay Commission under the Department of Expenditure.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on April 30, 2026, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved his appointment for a tenure of four years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Navnit is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Services Department in the Government of Tamil Nadu.
