Breaking: Amit Shah reaches Mari Pannuan, to meet Bikramjit Singh’s family

Mari Pannuan (Punjab), October 20, 2026: Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Mari Pannuan in Punjab by helicopter on Tuesday after arriving at Amritsar airport. He is proceeding by road to meet the family of Bikramjit Singh.
A convoy of bulletproof vehicles is accompanying the Home Minister. The meeting is aimed at expressing solidarity with the family and discussing its concerns.
Security arrangements have been tightened across the area ahead of Shah’s visit. Central security agencies and Punjab Police personnel have been deployed along the route from the helipad to the family’s residence.
Senior officials are monitoring the arrangements to ensure security during the Home Minister’s visit.
