Meets Family of Youth Who Died Due to Drug Abuse

Mansa (Punjab), October 30, 2026:Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Pargat Singh, accompanied by Balkaur Singh, father of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, joined the ongoing protest in Mansa on Friday demanding justice for Parvinder Singh Jhota.
During the visit, Singh also met the mother and wife of Daljit Singh, a resident of Bhamme Kalan village, who allegedly lost his life due to drug abuse. He expressed condolences and shared the family's grief.
Singh said the Congress party stood firmly with the bereaved family during this difficult time.
He added that the party would continue to raise its voice to save the lives of Punjab's youth and seek justice for families whose lives have been devastated by the drug menace.
