3-day Scouts-Guides Camp held at Shanti Vidya Mandir
Ferozepur, May 1, 2024: A three-day Scouts and Guides Camp was organized at Shanti Vidya Mandir School, in which Scouts and Guides Officer Sardar Charanjit Singh gave very informative and beneficial information to the students of the school. The enthusiastic participation from students was seen in the camp and left a lasting impression on the students who participated.
The event aimed to provide a platform for students to develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and survival skills, while also fostering a sense of community and collaboration among them. It also featured a range of exciting activities and challenges.
Students participated in this camp with great enthusiasm. Under the training given in this camp, Charanjit Singh taught the students to remain disciplined, different ways of clapping on other occasions, information about scouts and setting up tents, and preparing food themselves in their time of need.
Students were given opportunities to learn essential survival skills, such as setting up a camp, starting a fire, and navigating the wilderness. They were also taught the basics of first aid, map reading, and knot tying.
Sarabjit Kaur, in charge of the SBS College Girls Wing, was also present at this event. Rajni Madahar, the Principal praised the student's enthusiasm and participation and highlighted the importance of such camps in shaping young minds. The Managing Committee members expressed their gratitude to the Scouts and Guides team for organizing such an insightful event.
