Chandigarh, April 21, 2025: CGC Landran launched its new non-campus Advanced Training Restaurant. The restaurant was inaugurated by the Honorable President, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, along with special Celebrity Chefs Izzat Hussain - Consulting Chef & Culinary Educator, Chef Sanjeev Verma - President Chef Association of Five Rivers and founder of PASHTUN, Chef Vinod Sidhu - Founder of Polka , Chef Vishal Handa - Consultant Chef and Chef Neelu Kaura - Founder of C hefkala and B awarchi, judge of cooking shows..
President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal shared that th is innovative dining space aims to provide a platform for the Hotel Management students to explore their culinary talents while fostering a vibrant community atmosphere.
At CGC, we endeavor to give the best facilities to our students so that experiential learning is more engaging and as per the industry standards.The opening saw the guests being served dishes and drinks prepared by the students, especially for the occasion, which were very well appreciated by all present.
The restaurant will not just be a place to enjoy delicious meals; it is an experiential learning center for students enrolled in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Related Programs.
The restaurant will serve as a real-world lab where students can hone their cooking, customer service, and business management skills.
Dr. Vimak Kumar, Director Principal, expressed his excitement about the new venture: “We are thrilled to open An advanced training restaurant as a creative space for our students to flourish and learn.
