PAU Inter-College Youth Festival dates announced

Ludhiana (Punjab), November 4, 2025: Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal announced the university's Inter-College Youth Festival and said that this festival will be organized from November 8-17, 2025 at the PAU campus.
Presiding over a gathering of university officers and teachers associated with the youth festival at the university, Dr. Gosal said that co-curricular activities play an important role in student life, which gives students an opportunity to improve and develop their personality.
Dr. Gosal said that PAU has also produced international level sportsperson and artists along with agricultural research. University Registrar Dr. Rishipal Singh (IAS), said that such youth activities instill self-confidence in the students, hence students should actively participate in these activities.
Director Student Welfare, Dr. Nirmal Jaura said that during this youth festival competition of music, theater, fine arts, folk dance, literary and heritage arts will be conducted for the university students.
Dr. Jaura said that PAU students study science, yet they have international level achievements in the field of literature and culture. Associate Director Culture, Dr. Rupinder Kaur said that more than fifty competitions will be organized during this youth festival.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal also released the booklet of rules and regulations of the youth festival, which has been designed and edited by the university's Registering Officer, Sh Satvir Singh. Dr. Vishal Bector, President of the University Dance Drama and Music Club, said that along with skills, these festivals also teach discipline to the students.
Dr. Kamaldeep Singh Sangha from the College of Agriculture, Dr. Sharanbir Kaur Bal from the College of Community Science, Dr. Karanbir Singh Gill from the College of Horticulture, Dr. Suman Kumari from the College of Basic Science and Dr. Gurnaz Singh Gill from the College of Engineering were present on the occasion. Joint Director Students’ Welfare, Dr. Kamaljeet Singh Suri proposed the Vote of thanks and suggested the students to participate maximum in these such events.
