Faridkot Youth Sunavardeep Singh Secures AIR 76 in UPSC Civil Services 2025, Honoured by Deputy Commissioner

Faridkot, March 9, 2026: Sunavardeep Singh, a talented young man from Faridkot district, has brought pride to his hometown and the state of Punjab by securing All India Rank 76 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025.
In recognition of this outstanding achievement, Deputy Commissioner Faridkot Poonamdeep Kaur felicitated Sunavardeep Singh in a special ceremony. The event was attended by his father, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Director of the Agriculture Department, and his mother, Prof. Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, who teaches at Government Brijindra College, Faridkot.
Congratulating the achiever, Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur said Sunavardeep Singh success would serve as a powerful source of inspiration for the youth of the district. “With dedication, hard work, and firm determination, any goal can be achieved,” she remarked. She added that the district administration takes immense pride in his accomplishment and expressed confidence that he would make significant contributions to the nation and the welfare of the people in the years to come while serving the country.
Sunavardeep Singh, aged 26 and hailing from Faridkot, completed his Mechanical Engineering degree from Symbiosis University, Pune. This was his third attempt at the prestigious UPSC examination. Prior to this success, he was serving as a Grade-B Inspector in the Punjab Cooperatives Department.
