MP Satnam Singh Sandhu honours students for philanthropic contribution to flood relief

Chandigarh, January 25, 2026: Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha Satnam Singh Sandhu today felicitated Mansimar Kaur and Eva Jain for their exemplary contribution of ₹40 lakh towards flood relief through various non-governmental organisations.
Sandhu lauded the students for their remarkable initiative and encouraged more such philanthropic ventures to strengthen social responsibility and community engagement.
He emphasised the need to inspire the youth to actively participate in nation-building through service, innovation, and knowledge-driven initiatives for the betterment of society.
Mansimar Kaur and Eva Jain, students of Strawberry School, Chandigarh, mobilised fellow students with the support of their school and facilitated the distribution of ₹40 lakh along with essential relief materials to Global Sikhs, Sewa Punjab, and the Global Shapers Society for flood-affected communities.
Expressing their gratitude, the students acknowledged Mr. Sandhu’s appreciation and reaffirmed their commitment to continue contributing to social welfare initiatives in the future.
