  Chandigarh, January 26, 2026: Following the Republic Day celebrations, the Chandigarh Administration has announced a holiday for students across the Union Territory.
  
  As per the latest official orders, all government and private schools in Chandigarh will remain closed on Monday, January 27, 2026. The decision has been taken to provide relief to students and staff after the Republic Day events.
