Haryana to roll out MRI services in 6 District hospitals; CT scans approved

Chandigarh, March 20, 2026: Haryana is set to strengthen its public healthcare system with MRI scan services to be introduced in six district civil hospitals under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, Health Minister Arti Singh Rao announced on Friday.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Special High Powered Purchase Committee, which approved MRI facilities in civil hospitals at Nuh, Rewari, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak and Charkhi Dadri. The committee also cleared proposals to hire CT scan services for hospitals in Mandi Khera (Nuh) and Rewari.
In addition, mechanised and automated cleaning services were approved for civil hospitals in Kurukshetra, Gurugram and Jind to improve hygiene standards.
Rao said the initiatives aim to ensure affordable and quality healthcare, directing officials to implement the projects within a fixed timeline with transparency.
