Taqdeer Singh wins Bronze Medal at State-Level Wrestling Championship
Ferozepur, September 20, 2026: Taqdeer Singh, a meritorious Class 7 student of Government High Smart School, Sarih Wala Brar, brought laurels to his school and the region by winning a bronze medal at the State-Level Wrestling Championship 2026 held in Amritsar.
Hailing from a humble rural background, Taqdeer Singh demonstrated his talent at the state level through hard work, discipline, dedication and regular practice. His achievement has become a source of inspiration for children from rural areas who aspire to excel in sports despite limited resources.
School Head Mrs. Rinkle Munjal congratulated Taqdeer Singh on his achievement and said that the medal was the result of his determination, courage and sustained hard work.
