Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026: ADC releases banner, urges Public to keep surroundings clean
Ferozepur, September 20, 2026: The district administration has launched activities under the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2026’ to promote cleanliness and public participation in maintaining a clean environment, following the directions of Deputy Commissioner Deepashikha Sharma,
As part of the campaign, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Krishna Pal Rajput released a banner and urged people to adopt cleanliness as an integral part of their daily lives. He appealed to residents to keep their surroundings clean, ensure proper disposal of waste and actively contribute towards cleanliness efforts.
Emphasis was also laid on coordinated efforts by various departments to make cleanliness-related activities more effective and ensure wider public participation during the campaign.
ADC(D) said the main objective of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign was to create greater awareness about cleanliness among people and ensure the participation of all sections of society in building a clean and healthy India.
The Social Staff of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department also actively participated in the campaign. DSO-cum-XEN Harpal Singh, BRC Jaswinder Singh, Gurbej Singh, Mandeep Singh and Nachhattar Singh were among those who participated in the campaign.
