Pakistan blames winds from Punjab as Lahore grapples with severe air pollution; Watch Video

Lahore (Pakistan), November 4, 2024: At a time when the air pollution levels in Lahore have soared to unprecedented heights, Pakistan has blamed polluted winds from various cities of Punjab for the worsening air quality of Lahore.
In a televised press conference, Pakistan Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb that the AQI of Lahore had jumped high-speed winds entered Pakistan various cities of Punjab.
Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb who was seen quoting data stated that these winds had originated from the Indian cities of Amritsar, Chandigarh, Bathinda, Sri Ganganagar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, etc., and engulfed large pockets of Lahore, raising the AQI to unprecedented levels.
