Chandigarh, June 27, 2025: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today unveiled the party’s newly constituted organizational structure, announcing key office bearers and a 31-member core committee aimed at revitalizing the party’s internal framework and public outreach.
Veteran leader Balwinder Singh Bhundar has been appointed as the Secretary General of the party, while Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema has been named Secretary and N.K. Sharma will serve as the Treasurer.
In a bid to strengthen the party’s auxiliary wings, S. Sarabjit Singh Jhinjar has been appointed as President of the Youth Wing, Bibi Hargobind Kaur as President of Istri Akali Dal (Women’s Wing), and S. Ranbir Singh Rana Dhillon as President of SOI (Student Organisation of India).
A 31-member core committee was also announced under the leadership of Sukhbir Singh Badal, comprising prominent party leaders including:
