  Chandigarh, September 11, 2025: Amid the worsening flood situation in Punjab, rebel Akali Dal MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali has demanded that a special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha be convened.
  
  Ayali has written a formal letter to Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, urging immediate discussion on the crisis and effective measures to tackle the large-scale damage caused by floods across the state.
