PCS Officers’ Association extends strong Post-Flood Support to Punjab CM Relief Fund
Chandigarh/Ferozepur, September 16, 2025: The Punjab Civil Service (Executive Branch) Officers’ Association has extended significant support to the state’s flood relief efforts, reaffirming its solidarity with the people of Punjab.
Association President Sakatar Singh Bal, along with Dr. Ankur Mahindroo, General Secretary, and the executive body, presented a ₹7.5 lakh cheque to the Punjab Chief Minister for the CM Relief Fund. Senior officers Tejdeep Singh Saini, Sundeep Garha, Navraj S. Brar, Deepak Rohela, and Keshav Goyal were part of the delegation. The Chief Secretary of Punjab was also present during the handover.
In addition, a ₹1 lakh contribution from the All India Federation of State Civil Services Associations (AIF) was handed over to the Chief Minister, reflecting the strong camaraderie among civil service associations nationwide.
President Bal lauded the Haryana Civil Service (HCS) Officers’ Association for their generous ₹3.5 lakh contribution and expressed gratitude to AIF President Gaurav Bajad (RAS) and Patron Lajvir Singh (IAS, Retd.) for their moral and financial support.
Bal also appreciated the tireless humanitarian efforts of PCS officers, who have been providing consistent physical, mental, and financial assistance to flood-affected families. “PCS officers have always stood steadfast with the people and the state in times of crisis, showing true commitment to service and devotion to the motherland,” he said.
The association further thanked the Chief Minister for his leadership and guidance, especially for officers working on the ground in ongoing relief operations across flood-hit regions of Punjab.
