Big Breaking: Attempt made to throw shoe at Chief Justice of India

New Delhi, October 6, 2025: In a shocking incident at the Supreme Court today, a lawyer attempted to throw a shoe at Chief Justice of India (CJI) B.R. Gavai. The event occurred around 11:35 a.m. during ongoing court proceedings.
The lawyer approached the desk and tried to hurl his shoe toward the CJI. CJI Gavai, however, remained calm and unshaken, addressing the gathered lawyers by saying, “Such incidents do not affect me. Move on and continue your work.”
The court immediately continued its proceedings without any disruption, and no one was harmed. CJI Gavai is provided with Z+ security.
