Chandigarh, October 8, 2025: National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the inauguration of Phase-1 of the Navi Mumbai International Airport and the launch of Mumbai’s first underground Metro-3 Aqua Line.
Grewal described these projects as more than mere infrastructure developments, calling them symbols of India’s growing strength, global aspirations, and confidence under the visionary leadership of PM Modi.
Highlighting the significance of the airport, he said it will enhance India’s aviation capacity, strengthen regional connectivity, and serve as a state-of-the-art global gateway for Maharashtra and the western region.
The Metro-3 Aqua Line, he noted, represents a major step toward sustainable urban mobility, easing traffic congestion, reducing pollution, and transforming daily commuting for millions of citizens.
Grewal also praised the coordinated efforts of various ministries and officials, including the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Railways, and the Adani Group under Gautam Adani, for their professionalism and commitment in delivering world-class infrastructure.
He acknowledged the contributions of Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Amit Shah, and Dr. S. Jaishankar, along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in ensuring seamless execution of these landmark projects.
Emphasizing PM Modi’s people-centric developmental philosophy—“Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”—Grewal said these projects are at the heart of India’s transformative growth, reflecting the country’s ambition to emerge as a modern, self-reliant, and globally respected nation.
He concluded by expressing deep gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his tireless vision and commitment, calling the airport and metro projects the “heartbeat of a confident, rising India.”
