Chandigarh, November 3, 2025: Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema addressed the media concerning the launch of the Pensioner Sewa Portal, a major initiative by the state government aimed at benefiting approximately 3.15 lakh pensioners.
This new portal will enable pensioners to avail themselves of various services including filing complaints, updating information, and other related queries through an entirely online process from the comfort of their homes.
The government has made it convenient for pensioners by requiring an initial e-KYC verification, after which they can fully utilize the portal for all their pension-related needs.
To further assist pensioners, three helpline numbers have been established: 18001802148, 01722996385, and 01722996386. A control room has also been set up to ensure effective handling of pensioners’ issues. These helplines are operational from 9 AM to 5 PM daily.
