Genco Tricity Association donates Rs 10 lakh to Global Sikh Foundation for flood victims

Chandigarh, November 10, 2025: The Genco Tricity Association, an associated body of the main Genco Alumni Association (GAA) comprising former students of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, has donated ₹10 lakh to the Global Sikh Foundation for flood victims.
The donation ceremony witnessed the presence of SMS Sandhu, President of GAA; Vice Presidents Manjit Randhawa, Kulwant Singh Sandhu, and Rachhpal Singh Buttar; Convener Paramjit Singh Gill; and members Kanwaljit S. Bhinder, Jasinder Singh Bhandari, H.S. Sekhon, Jagjit Singh Thiara, and Sudarshan Gupta.
In a generous personal gesture, Kiran Sandhu, wife of GAA President SMS Sandhu, also contributed ₹1 lakh independently from her own resources.
The Global Sikh Foundation was represented by Saravjeet Singh, Head of the Chandigarh Branch, along with his team.
