Punjab CM Mann appears before Sri Akal Takht; Watch Video

Amritsar (Punjab), January 15, 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann appeared before the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, where he was formally presented with a copy of the monthly Gurdwara Gazette—a publication related to the Sikh Rehat Maryada and official communications of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).
The copy was handed over in the presence of Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar Giani Tek Singh of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib. The occasion marked the Chief Minister’s appearance before the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs, reflecting adherence to Sikh traditions and institutions.
