Chandigarh, March 31, 2026:The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has intensified its outreach campaign ‘Shandaar 4 Saal, Bhagwant Mann De Naal’, with its youth wing announcing a statewide mobilisation drive to take the Punjab Government’s achievements directly to people.
Addressing a press conference, Chairman of the Punjab Youth Development Board and Acting President of AAP Punjab Youth Wing Parminder Singh Goldy said the youth wing will actively engage with citizens across villages and urban wards through nukkad sabhas and local meetings.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government has delivered significant progress over the past four years, particularly in the fields of youth empowerment and education.
Highlighting employment generation, Goldy said around 65,000 government jobs have been provided in a transparent and merit-based manner, while more than five lakh private sector job opportunities have been created through investments and industrial growth.
On education reforms, he pointed to the transformation of government schools with improved infrastructure and modern teaching methods. He added that entrepreneurship programmes are being introduced to encourage students to become job creators, while teachers and principals are being sent abroad to countries like Singapore and Finland for training.
Referring to the government’s anti-drug campaign, Goldy said strict action under the ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’ initiative has led to the arrest of thousands of drug smugglers, reinforcing the government’s zero-tolerance approach.
He also highlighted initiatives in sports development, including the expansion of playgrounds, indoor gyms and strengthening of youth clubs with sports kits to engage young people in constructive activities.
Placing the campaign in a broader vision, Goldy said the efforts align with the vision of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann to build a progressive and prosperous Punjab, inspired by the ideals of Bhagat Singh.
Reaffirming the commitment of party workers, he said AAP will take the government’s key initiatives—including free electricity, improved law and order, and development programmes—to every household across the state.
