Under 'Punjab Sikhiya Kranti' school infrastructure strengthened to boost students growth : MLA Bhullar
Ferozepur, April 17, 2026: Reaffirming the state government’s commitment towards quality education, MLA Ferozepur Urban Ranbir Singh Bhullar said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is making continuous efforts to ensure the overall development of students through the ‘Punjab Sikhiya Kranti’ initiative.
MLA was addressing gatherings after inaugurating development works at Government Senior Secondary School, Khushhal Singh Wala and Government High School, Dulchi Ke. On the occasion, Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary), Dr. Satinder Singh, was also present.
Bhullar highlighted that with the guidance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the efforts of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, government schools are being equipped with modern infrastructure to enhance both academic and sports facilities. He said these initiatives aim to ensure effective utilization of students’ time and help them excel in competitive examinations, bringing laurels to the state.
He further added that Punjab’s education model is gaining recognition, with other states drawing inspiration from it. Due to significant improvements under the ‘Punjab Sikhiya Kranti’, an increasing number of parents are enrolling their children in government schools.
During the event, the MLA distributed employment kits to 40 students under the NSQF vocational scheme at Government Senior Secondary School, Khushhal Singh Wala. More than 20 meritorious students at Government High School, Dulchi Ke were also provided with stationery.
Also, modern interactive panels and advanced laboratories were inaugurated in both schools as part of the digital transformation in education.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Satinder Singh elaborated on various initiatives being undertaken by the education department for students’ welfare and encouraged villagers to enroll more children in government schools under the ongoing admission drive.
