Ferozepur Firing Incident: Injured 12-Year-Old Boy Stable, undergoing treatment
Ferozepur, April 21, 2026: A 12-year-old boy was injured after shots were fired during a clash between two rival groups in Gamewala village of Ferozepur district on Tuesday.
According to information, the incident occurred following a dispute triggered by a collision between a car and a motorcycle. The argument quickly escalated into a violent confrontation, during which one of the individuals allegedly pulled out a pistol and opened fire.
During the chaos, villagers rushed to save themselves. The injured child, identified as Raman, was attempting to flee when a bullet struck his leg and passed through. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
Family members alleged that the accused, identified as Vicky, son of Jassa, had a prior enmity with their side and demanded strict action against those involved.
The attending doctor stated that the boy’s condition is stable, and further clarity will emerge after medical scans.
Police officials, including Harinder Singh, confirmed that a case has been registered based on statements. “A minor altercation between two groups escalated, and one individual opened fire, injuring the child. Investigation is underway,” he said.
Police have begun further investigation and are working to apprehend the accused.
