Rotary Club Chandigarh Tricity announces new leadership for 2026–27

Chandigarh, July 12, 2026: Rotary Club Chandigarh Tricity announced its new leadership team for the 2026–27 Rotary year during a ceremony attended by senior Rotary leaders, dignitaries, club members and community representatives.
Rtn Amritpal Bhambra assumed charge as the club's President, succeeding Rtn Kulbir Singh Bhatia, whose tenure was marked by several community service initiatives, flagship projects and district-level recognitions.
In his address, Bhambra reaffirmed the club's commitment to strengthening its service projects in healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, youth development and community welfare. He urged members to work collectively in the spirit of Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self," and continue creating a positive impact in society.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. P. J. Singh, Managing Director of Tynor Orthotics Pvt. Ltd., who served as the chief guest. Congratulating the outgoing team for its achievements, he praised the club's contribution to community service and extended his best wishes to the new leadership for a successful and productive year ahead.
Rotary International, one of the world's largest volunteer service organisations with more than 1.4 million members worldwide, carries out initiatives in healthcare, education, disease prevention, maternal and child health, environmental conservation, peacebuilding and community development.
The event also brought together senior Rotary officials, past presidents and Rotarians, marking the beginning of the club's activities for the 2026–27 Rotary year.
