Chandigarh, July 14, 2026: Trident Group, one of India's leading home textile manufacturers, on Tuesday unveiled its next phase of growth at Bharat Tex 2026, announcing an innovation-led strategy backed by an investment of over ₹100 crore in research and development (R&D) and environmental performance.
Presenting its vision under the theme 'The Expression of Living', the company said it is focusing on manufacturing excellence, digitalisation and sustainable product innovation to strengthen its position in the global home textiles market.
As part of its growth strategy, Trident has established a dedicated Innovation Cell and built a portfolio of more than 17 patents and 147 trademarThe company said its R&D efforts are driving the development of advanced fibre blends, functional finishes, and high-performance yarns for premium and niche markets.ets.

Sharing his vision at the event, Padma Shri Dr. Rajinder Gupta, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, said India is emerging as a global leader in the textile industry, with Bharat Tex becoming one of the world's most significant textile platforms in just three editions.
He said Trident believes the future of textiles lies at the intersection of innovation, design and craftsmanship. Gupta also highlighted the company's partnership with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), saying it aims to nurture Indian design talent, strengthen the country's design ecosystem and take Indian creations to global markets.
The company also used the platform to unveil new festive collections and home décor ranges under its flagship brand, myTrident. Among the highlights were 'Torani for myTrident', fashion designer Karan Torani's first home décor collaboration, and the second edition of the Shivan & Narresh for myTrident collection.
Neha Gupta Bector, Chairperson of myTrident, said the theme 'The Expression of Living' reflects the belief that homes should be a reflection of individual personalities. She said the new collections and designer collaborations combine contemporary aesthetics with Indian craftsmanship to create meaningful living spaces.
Rajneesh Bhatia, CEO of myTrident, said the company plans to expand its retail footprint from 7,000 to 10,000 touchpoints across India. He added that myTrident will also focus on strengthening its presence in the hospitality and institutional segments, while expanding its gifting solutions portfolio to drive future growth.
Despite global economic challenges, Trident said it delivered a stable performance in FY26 and will continue to leverage its existing manufacturing assets, accelerate digital transformation and invest in sustainable innovation as it enters the next phase of expansion.
The company said its latest initiatives reaffirm its commitment to creating world-class textile products while promoting sustainable value creation and showcasing India's design heritage on the global stage.
