Harcharan Singh Bhullar's bail plea dismissed by High Court

Chandigarh, August 10, 2026: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed the bail petition filed by suspended Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Harcharan Singh Bhullar, dealing a setback to the senior police officer.
The court had reserved its order after completing the hearing on the bail petition in the matter. The decision was pronounced on Monday.
Bhullar, who is currently under suspension, had approached the High Court seeking bail. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court declined to grant him relief and dismissed the petition.
