Rahul Gandhi likely to lead ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’ in the state next month

Chandigarh, August 20, 2026: Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Amritsar next month. Though officially it is yet to be announced but sources disclosed that he is likely to lead Punjab Bachao Yatra which will begin from Amritsar and will pass through roughly 30 Assembly seats before culminating at Ferozepur. It is learnt that Congress High Command is not keen making any effective changes in Punjab Congress set up and Rahul is likely to take all groups along during his yatra.
