Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment Rally enters 5th day in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, August, 21, 2026: The fifth day of the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment Rally for the youth of Punjab continued today at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium, Ferozepur, under the aegis of the Golden Arrow Division and Vajra Corps. Aimed at candidates from Ferozepur, Faridkot, Fazilka, Sri Muktsar Sahib, and Bathinda, the event saw participation from approximately 1,000 young aspirants from Sri Muktsar Sahib, Fazilka, and Ferozepur. The recruitment drive stands out for its strong synergy between the Indian Army, local civil administration, and the surrounding community.
To ensure the event runs smoothly and safely, joint teams of police personnel and Army officials have established round-the-clock security across the rally grounds. Working in close coordination with local NGOs and Press Club Ferozepur, the District Administration has made 24x7 arrangements for key infrastructure, including clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, electricity, medical support, and internet connectivity. Additionally, civil authorities have arranged essential food and water supplies to help candidates recover following their exhaustive physical tests.
