CGC University Mohali honoured with ‘Global EduCulture Next Gen University 2026’ Award

Mohali (Punjab), August 28, 2026: CGC University Mohali has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Global EduCulture Next Gen University 2026’ Award during the Global EduCulture Conclave 2026, organised by the Loknayak Jayaprakash National Art and Culture Foundation at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi.
The award recognises the university’s efforts to promote future-ready education, academic excellence and innovation while integrating these with India’s rich cultural heritage.
The award was received on behalf of CGC University Mohali by Vaibhav Kele, Assistant Director, Cultural Affairs, in the presence of education experts, cultural leaders and other distinguished personalities. The honour was presented by a special panel comprising Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, former Union Education Minister, Government of India; Małgorzata W. Gołębiewiak, Director of the Polish Institute in New Delhi; and Padma Bhushan Ram Bahadur Rai, Chairman of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).
Expressing his happiness over the recognition, CGC University Chancellor Rachpal Dhaliwal, who has also been honoured with the Father of Education Award, said the recognition reflects the university’s commitment to developing strong cultural values and ethics among students alongside modern education and technology.
He said the university is focused not only on equipping young people with professional skills but also on connecting them with India’s rich cultural heritage.
CGC University Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal said the achievement reflected the sustained efforts and innovative approach of the university’s entire team. He said the university is committed to providing students with a globally oriented academic environment that prepares them to meet future challenges while encouraging them to become responsible members of society.
The recognition marks another significant milestone in CGC University’s efforts to build a progressive educational framework that combines contemporary learning with cultural values and responds to the aspirations of modern students.
