The march began from Gurdwara Janam Asthan Baba Budha Sahib, Kathunangal, amid Sikh religious slogans and the presence of a large number of devotees and prominent Sikh personalities.

Addressing the gathering, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj said the march had reached thousands of villages and towns across Punjab and provided an opportunity for direct interaction with the Sikh community.
He said the campaign focused on connecting people with the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Gurmat principles and the concept of the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Gargajj also said encouraging young people to stay away from drugs, participate in sports and constructive activities, and pursue honest work was an important part of the campaign. He claimed that several young people had pledged to stay away from drugs, maintain their Sikh identity and follow Sikh principles during the march.
He thanked the Sikh community for its participation and said interactions during the march also provided an opportunity to hear people's concerns and address questions related to Sikh institutions and community issues.
SGPC Announces Amrit Sanchar Programmes
SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami said the organisation would intensify Gurmat programmes and Amrit Sanchar ceremonies in every SGPC constituency following the completion of the Khalsa March.
