PM Modi pays tribute to former PM Manmohan Singh on birth anniversary

New Delhi, September 26, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday remembered former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on his birth anniversary, recalling his long public service and contribution to the country.
In a post on X, Modi said Singh spent several years in public life and served the nation with dedication.
“Tributes to our former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji on his birth anniversary. He spent many years in public life and served the nation with dedication,” Modi said.
Dr Manmohan Singh, who served as India’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, passed away in December 2024 at the age of 92.
