Raja Warring quits as PPCC Chief

Chandigarh, October 1, 2026: Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has quit as Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President. He has sent his resignation to party General Secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal.
After appointment of Sachin Pilot as PPCC Incharge, change of guard in state Congress was expected.
High command will appoint a new President in a day or two. Vijay Inder Singla is considered front runner for the post though names of Pargat Singh and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa are also doing the rounds.
