Breaking: Akali Dal Punar-Surjit appoints coordinators for 10 more constituencies in Punjab

Chandigarh, October 10, 2026: Shiromani Akali Dal Punar-Surjit has appointed coordinators for 10 more constituencies in Punjab as part of its efforts to strengthen the party’s organisational presence across the state.
Party General Secretary Gurpratap Singh Wadala announced the appointments in a press statement, saying they had been made on the directions of party president Giani Harpreet Singh.
The newly appointed constituency coordinators are Bhai Manjit Singh for Khemkaran, Davinder Singh Sodhi for Sri Muktsar Sahib, Bhagwant Singh Fateh Jalal for Kartarpur, Advocate Amandeep Singh Bhalaike for Sardulgarh, Parminder Singh Ludhiana for Atam Nagar in Ludhiana, Jasbir Singh Bhullar for Ferozepur Urban, Diwan Singh Dikkh for Bhucho Mandi, Rajinder Singh Raja for Malout, Harpreet Singh Rajian for Bhadaur and Mohinder Singh Chauhanke for Mehal Kalan.
Wadala expressed confidence that the appointees would work to strengthen the party at the constituency level and expand its public outreach.
