Patiala (Punjab), October 28, 2026: Patiala Foundation distributed 50 reflective safety jackets among workers as part of a road safety awareness drive at TI Cycle on Tuesday, aiming to improve visibility and promote preventive safety practices, particularly during low-light conditions.
The initiative was organised under Project SADAK, the foundation’s road safety programme, with support from Kataline Ltd. under its Glow for Life initiative. The drive focused on encouraging responsible road behaviour and highlighting the importance of simple safety measures for workers and other road users.
With this distribution, Patiala Foundation has completed its seventh reflective safety jacket initiative. The foundation said it has distributed around 500 jackets so far among housing staff, security guards, workers and officers associated with multiple organisations.
The programme was attended by Ravee Singh Ahluwalia, Founder and CEO of Patiala Foundation; Harpreet Sandhu, Anmoljit Singh, Dr Abhinandan Bassi and Aadishwar Ahluwalia, members of the foundation; and representatives of TI Cycle, including Ajay Kumar Verma, Head of Human Resources; Pradeep Kumar Yadav, HR; Gajender Kumar, Plant Head; and Sidharth K. Singh, Business Unit Head.
Interns from SPJIMR Mumbai — Mandira Singh, Aishwarya Pandey and Nihal Singh — were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahluwalia stressed the need to translate road safety awareness into practical action. He said reflective jackets could improve the visibility of people commuting to work, particularly during early mornings, evenings and other low-light conditions.
Reflective safety gear is intended to make wearers more visible to approaching motorists, helping promote safer movement around roads and workplaces.
Patiala Foundation expressed gratitude to Patiala Deputy Commissioner Dr Himanshu Aggarwal, Assistant Labour Officer Pavneet Kaur, Kataline Ltd. management and TI Cycle for supporting and facilitating the initiative. The foundation also acknowledged the continued cooperation of the Patiala district administration in its road safety efforts.
Through Project SADAK, the foundation continues to work with community and industry partners to promote road safety awareness and encourage preventive practices among workers and other road users.
